On March 18–19, the 9th European Direct Selling Conference took place in Brussels, organized by the European Direct Selling Association – Seldia. The conference opened with a formal Astra Awards Ceremony, during which the achievements of direct selling companies and national direct selling associations were recognized in three categories: Positive Impact, Continued Education and Upskilling, and Communication and Outreach.

The Latvian Direct Selling Association, together with the Lithuanian and Estonian associations, received the prestigious Seldia Astra Award in the Communication and Outreach category for a digital communication campaign. In the final round, the Baltic DSAs outperformed the Italian and French Direct Selling Associations.

According to Gintautas Zaleckas, General Secretary of the Baltic Direct Selling Associations, this recognition reflects the consistent efforts of the Baltic DSAs in raising the visibility and awareness of the direct selling sector in the region. It also serves as encouragement to continue improving and seeking the most effective ways to communicate the value that the direct selling industry brings to society.
